All users of the Website can view Job Offering or advertisements, and the Website allows you to make online applications to Job posted. It is free of charge to Job Seekers and an optional service but it requires Job Seekers to complete mandatory fields (For example full name, contact phone number and email of applicant etc, which is also subject to the request by the Job Offerors) so that Job Offerors can identify and contact the Job Seekers.
The GigGik “Talent CRM” function allows Job Offerors advertising at GigGik to search and view our members’ information in their Profile and CV. Our members also can decide what information can be searched and viewed by Job Offerors according to the privacy settings as described below, which will be subject to constant review and upgrade and you should check the features in the Website.
The Job Seeker’s Profile and CV (except name and contact information) can be seen by Job Offerors using GigGik’s “Talent CRM”. If Job Offerors wishes to purchase access to Job Seeker’s Profile, the full Profile including CV and contact information will be shown to the relevant Job Offerors by using the “Buy profile” function. Additionally, Job Offerors can also elect to send a job invitation which they are recruiting by using the “Send Job Ad” function.
All Job Offerors can view the Job Seekers’ Profile (except name, contact information and CV) and Job Offerors may elect to send a job invitation which they are recruiting by using the “Send Job Ad” function. However, due to the privacy setting, Job Offerors cannot purchase access to the Job Seekers’ full Profile and CV.
The Profile (including name, contact information and CV) is completely hidden. Job Offerors cannot purchase access to Job Seekers’ Profile or send the job opportunities.
Job Seekers may receive a notification when an Job Offerors using “Buy Profile” function to view their full Profile and CV (including name, contact information). Job Seekers may also receive a notification when Job Offerors advertising at GigGik by using “Send Job Ad”, in accordance with the aforementioned “Talend CRM” privacy settings. Job Seekers may decide to grant approval, reject or ignore the invitation.
Where a profile has been bought by a Job Offeror, or the Job Seeker who has replied to a job invitation sent by a Job Offeror or applied for jobs directly on the Website by using the Profile, that Job Offeror will have access to the latest Profile, including the contact information (as updated by Job Seeker from time to time).
Job Seekers can modify their Profile information, CV and/or the privacy options in relation to their profile anytime at GigGik.
GigGik will endeavor to ensure Job Offerors advertising at GigGik understand their legal obligations regarding the use and disclosure of members’ personal information. However, GigGik will not accept any responsibility for any violations of such legal obligations by Job Offerors advertising at GigGik.
Under the Ordinance, any user is entitled to request access to or make amendments to their own personal information and/or data kept with GigGik by contacting the Customer Service Executive of GigGik’s Customer Service Department. According to the Policy below, users may alternatively update, amend or delete their personal information and/or data at any time by logging into “My GigGik” section of the Website.
In case a user wishes to access or amend their personal information and/or data, GigGik may request users to provide personal details in order to verify and confirm their identity. Identity card number or passport number or business registration certificate number cannot be amended unless such data is proved to be inaccurate.
The Sites may provide links to other websites / media platforms / applications which are not owned or controlled by the Company. Personal Information and data from Users may be collected on these other websites / media platforms / applications when Users visit such websites / media platforms / applications and make use of the services provided therein. Where and when Users decide to click on any advertisement or hyperlink on the Sites which grants Users access to other websites / media platforms / applications, the protection of User’s personal information and data which are deemed to be private and confidential may be exposed in these other websites / media platforms / applications.
